In their first action of the spring season, the University of the Incarnate Word women’s golf team took second place at the Dustdevil Spring Invitational in Laredo, Texas, this week.
Audrey Sitterly's 170 was good for an individual second place finish at the Dustdevil Invitational this week.
The Cardinals shot a two-round total of 716 (362-354) to finished just seven shots behind event-winner Texas at Brownsville.
All four of the UIW golfer finished in the top 10 of the event, with Audrey Siterly (81-89—170) taking second and Sasha Kiger (96-79—175) finishing third. Brittney Kramer shot a 184 (90-94) for seventh and Erika Hernandez finished 8th with a score of 187 (95-92).
The UIW women will be back in action at the St. Mary’s Invitational on February 23-24 at The Republic Golf Course in San Antonio.
