She went undefeated over the seven-day period and for her efforts Stephanie Rodriguez is the Heartland Conference women’s player of the week for March 8 to March 14.

Rodriguez was the only Incarnate Word player to post a perfect mark in the time when the Cardinals played two matches, winning one and losing the other.

In singles, playing at number two, Rodriguez won 6-4, 6-0 against St. Mary’s and was victorious against Lee College by a count of 6-4, 6-3.  In doubles she and her partner were winners twice, by 8-1 in the St. Mary’s match and by 8-3 against Lee.
