SPRING GAME MOVES UP THE STREET

Construction is well underway on the Benson Stadium expansion at Incarnate Word. One of the first actions was the removal of a lighting standard on the north side of the facility and that has now called for a change in the football spring schedule.
The Cardinals are set for their second annual Red and Black Spring Game on April 21. It was to have been played at Benson Stadium with kickoff at 7 p.m. But now the lights are not sufficient for night play so the game has been moved up the street a bit.
The date remains the same—April 21, the time remains the same—7 p.m., the site is now Orem Stadium at Alamo Heights High School at 6900 Broadway. The stadium is approximately two miles north of the Incarnate Word campus.
No admission will be charged for the Red and Black Game.
