University of the Incarnate Word

Incarnate Word’s Lauren Pratt following the 2010 track and field season has been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.

A sophomore from Houston, Pratt has maintained a 3.40 grade point average at UIW which surpasses the minimum of 3.25 for this honor. 

Also, those on this academic list must have participated in the NCAA Division II National Championships this past spring.  Pratt qualified for the meet in the long jump.  At the championships she finished 16^th with a best leap of 5.86 meters.

For the schoolyear 2010-2011 Incarnate Word will be a member of the Lone Star Conference.  This current academic honors list included athletes from one LSC member.  West Texas State placed four athletes on the squad.
