Incarnate Word football Coach Mike Santiago will be a headliner at the upcoming Tailgate Talks session hosted by San Antonio Sports.

The annual event is set for Thursday, August 19, at San Antonio’s downtown Sunset Station (1174 East Commerce Street).  Santiago and the coaches from the city’s other two football-playing universities will meet and greet with fans and then talk about their own programs.

Incarnate Word on August 28 will open its second season of action when Langston State comes to Benson Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff.  A year ago the Cardinals went 5-5 in their inaugural season.  This fall UIW will play as a member of the Lone Star Conference.

Members of San Antonio Sports get into Tailgate Talks free.  Prospective members can join the organization that evening and a portion of that membership fee will include free admission.  All others can be a part of the football talk session for $10.

Richard Oliver of the San Antonio EXPRESS-NEWS will be the event’s master of ceremonies.
