Nikita Belousov, sophomore from St. Petersburg, Russia
At the UIW Invitational he had three individual first place finishes. He was first in the 200-individual medley in a UIW school record time of 1:51.67. He also won the 400-individual medley and the 200-backstroke.
Cinnamon Kava, senior guard from Houston, Texas
Cinnamon Kava scored 9 and 14 points in wins against Lincoln University and Newman University, respectively, in the Cardinals’ road trip to the northern-most schools of the Heartland Conference.
Her 5-for-6 free throw performance at the charity stripe included a 4-for-4 string in the final minutes to help UIW come back from 12 down in the second half and get the win against the Jets.
